  	David Cousineau 10 September, 1945 – 11 March, 2013 Obituary of David Cousineau DAVID COUSINEAU It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David on March 11, 2013 at the age of 67. Beloved husband for 46 years of Darlene (Duggan), the love of his life. Loving father of Stephanie (Kevin), Tracey (David) and Penny (Robin). Cherished Poppy of Kendra, Kieran, Shane, Ethan, Lily & Noah. Predeceased by his parents William and Mabel Cousineau and his siblings Elizabeth, Leo, Maurice & Jean. Survived by his siblings Doris (Leo), Geraldine (Richard), Audrey (John), Catherine (Gerald), Michael (Cheryl), Patricia (Robert) and Peter (Jo-Anne). Dave was born and grew up in Ottawa’s Lowertown. He loved to play hockey and was the goalie for the St-Laurent Arrows. He made many friends through the sport as well as in his employment with the dept. of Public Works. He was like a brother to Patrick and Bonnie Duggan, Ricky Glarvin and a best buddy to John and Camilla Biddiscombe. He was a good man, kind and generous who was loved by many and liked by all. We will miss him terribly. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors of the 5th floor oncology of the Ottawa General Hospital, as well as the nurses and doctors at the palliative care of the Elisabeth Bruyère for the excellent care provided. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 23, 2013 at 1:30p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). The family will receive condolences from 1p.m. In Memory of David, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
