  	LAPORTE, Gilles It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilles Laporte on August 22, 2017, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Carole Parent and son of late Omer Laporte and of late Ida Janveau. He leaves behind his children Andrew and Denis (Karine), his adoptive daughter Alice Turpin (Gord); his great-grandchildren: Storm, Noémy and Damon. He also leaves his brothers Roger (Rachel), Robert and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Claude.
