    Obituary of Gaëtan Malette

    M. Gaëtan Malette Est décédé le 14 mai 2018 au Centre Élisabeth-Bruyère, à l'âge de 82 ans. Il était le fils de feu Rosa Ladouceur et de feu David Malette et l'époux bien-aimé de feu Hélène Lalonde. Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Sylvie (Alain Bonneville), son fils Claude et ses petits-enfants adorés : Andréa, Philippe, Marielle et Morgan. Il laisse également ses frères et sa sœur : Rhéal (feu Blanche Arsenault), Denise (Maurice Sénécal) et Maurice (Nicole Théorêt). Il laisse également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Il fut également prédécédé par son fils Yves, son amie de cœur Mabel Adam, ses frères : Ernest (Linda Waite) et Lucien (feu Fleurette Lalonde). La famille désire remercier le personnel de l'hôpital Montfort, Centre Élisabeth-Bruyère et la Résidence Beacon Heights pour les bons soins prodigués. La famille va recevoir les condoléances à compter de 10h. Les funérailles vont être célébrées le jeudi 24 mai 2018 à 10h30 à l'église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes (435, chemin Montréal). Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Société de la démence d'Ottawa seraient grandement appréciés.

    Mr. Gaëtan Malette Passed away on May 14, 2018 at the Elisabeth-Bruyere Centre at the age of 82. Son of the late Rosa Ladouceur and the late David Malette and the beloved husband of the late Hélène Lalonde. He leaves in sorrow his daughter Sylvie (Alain Bonneville), his son Claude, his cherished grandchildren Andréa, Philippe, Marielle and Morgan. He also leaves many siblings Rhéal (the late Blanche Arsenault), Denise (Maurice Sénécal) and Maurice (Nicole Théorêt). He also leaves many in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends. He was also predeceased by his son Yves, his loving friend Mabel Adam, his brothers: Ernest (Linda Waite) and Lucien (the late Fleurette Lalonde). The family would like to thank the staff from the Montfort Hospital, Elisabeth-Bruyere Centre and Beacon Heights Residence for the good care provided. Family will receives condolences starting at 10 a.m. The Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church (435 Montreal Road). In lieu of flowers, donations to The Dementia Society of Ottawa would be appreciated.
