Passed away at home after a long illness on June 28, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Wife of the late Adrien Levac. Daughter of the late Théophile Pharand and the late Alma Jacques. Loving mother of Denise, Hélène (Philippe), Lise, Pierre (Lilianne), Jean-Marc (Gisèle), Rachelle (Louis), Lynn, Michel, and Danielle (Steven). Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 15 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Paul as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Léa, Jeanette, Jean-Paul, Aurore, Elzéar, Elie, Colombe, Antoinette, Lucienne, Léo et Reina. The family would like to sincerely thank the Ottawa General Hospital Palliative Staff and Dr. Vincent for the wonderful care they provided. There will no visitation. A memorial service will be held on July 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame de Lourdes Church, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa. The family will receive condolences from 10 a.m. at the parish. In memory of Simone, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
