Passed away on April 4th, 2018 at the age of 78. Son of the late Donat Lapensée and the late Grace Rushford. Beloved husband of the late Aline Lapensée. He leaves in sorrow his children Diane, Gerry, Joanne (Marc Sabourin), Daniel (Carole Dorion) and Nicole (Jean Lambert), his grandchildren Steven, Leslie, Nicholas, Natasha, Christine, Kevin, Joey, Amanda, Justin, Jessica, Brianna, Patrice and Tina as well as many great grandchildren. He will be remembered by his sister June, his brothers Gérald and Rolland, many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his brothers and sister. A Funeral Mass will held on Thursday April 12, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church 320 Olmstead St. The family will receive condolences at the church at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Gerry, the family has requested that attendees may offer plush teddy bears, which in turn will be donated to the children's hospital, CHEO.
