LA FAMILLE ALLEN a le regret de vous annoncer le décès de MME YVETTE ALLAN (née Madore) La perte d'une mère est le premier chagrin que l'on pleure sans elle. Elle est décédée le 1er février 2008 paisiblement à l'hôpital Montfort, à l'âge de 90 ans. Elle était l'épouse de feu Marcel Allan. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses trois enfants chéris: Pierre (Janet Marshall), Raymond (Cathy Laviolette) et Manon (Marcel Larocque). Elle laisse également dans le deuil plusieurs petits-enfants adorés et ses très chers arrière-petits-enfants qui vont lui manquer. Ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins(es) et amis(es). La famille désire remercier le personnel de l'hôpital Montfort ainsi que Dr. André Gauthier. Il n'y aura pas de visites à la Maison funéraire. Sadly at her home on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the age of 53. Marguerite was predeceased by her parents, Hazel Lambert and Joseph Bruyère, her husband Richard Roy and her sister Catherine Brockington (Don). Loving mother of Jean-Paul (Natasha) and Patrick (Kaylaa). Cherished grandmother of Cassandra. Dear sister of Michel (Donna), Paul (Diane), Peter (Claudette), Lorraine (Dave), Marie-Claire (Eugène) and Bernadette (John). She will be dearly missed by her longtime friend Lise Bourgeois and extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at East Gate Alliance Church, 550 Codd's Road, Ottawa on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. Spring Interment will be held at Notre-Dame Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Obituary of Mildred Vaive
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Milly Vaive on August 10, 2018. A wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and loyal friend to many. Born in Eastview (Vanier) on August 1, 1944. Daughter of the late Rodger Gascon and Beatrice Turpin. Loving wife of 54 years to Rolland (Tap) Vaive and cherished Mother to Rolland Jr (Mona Beach); and Ronald (Krista Dorion). Devoted grandmother to her four beautiful granddaughters whom she adored: Sarah and Sophie Beach-Vaive; Chloe and Ella Vaive. Predeceased by her brothers Billy; Tony (the late Catherine Coughlan) Robert (the late Lucille Villeneuve) and by her sister Patricia (Pierre Latremouille) Left to mourn are her two sisters Edna (Darryl MacKenzie); and Margaret Gascon (Conrad Longpre).
She was a loving sister-in-law to the Vaive family. She was a fun-loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and leaves behind a large group of friends and neighbors whom she enjoyed so much. We would like to thank the wonderful Doctors and Nurses on the 7th floor of the Ottawa General Hospital who took great care of Milly in her final hours. At the family request, the service is private.
For those wishing to remember Milly hug someone and do something fun that will make you smile, as that is how she enjoyed her life.

Vendredi, à sa demeure, 606 rue Saint-Patrice, est décédée soudainement Mme David Emond, née Emma Landry, agée de 64 ans, la défune était originaire d'Ottawa. Elle était la fille de M. et Mme Joseph Landry, tous deux décédés. Sa mère etait anciennement Mlle Mélina Laverdure. Agée de 64 ans elle était origonaire d'Ottawa, et fille feu de M. et Mme Joseph Landry. Elle habita la capitale toute sa vie. Paroissienne bien connue et hautement estimé de la paroisse Ste-Anne. Mme Emond comptait un cercle nombreux d'amis. Elle etait une personne très charitable et s'occupait de plusieurs oeuvres paroissiales. Elle épousa en premières noces M. Arthur Lefebvre, en secondes noces M. David Emond. Du premier mariage sont né un fils et deux filles: M. Arthur Lefebvre d'Ottawa: Mme Victor Potter, née Edmée Lefevbre, de Philadelphie, U.S.A. Eugène Roy, née Noëla Lefebvre d'Ottawa. Du deuxième marige sont né un fils et deux filles: M. René Emond, d'Ottawa: Mme Laurent Villeneuve. née Berthe Emond d'Ottawa et Mlle Yvette Emond à la maison et ainsi que son époux, M. David Emond. Elle laisse aussi tois belle-filles: Mme Arthur Duguay, Mme Xavier Lamoureux et Mme Henri Charron, ainsi que M. Albert Emond, son beau-fils et six gendres: M.M. Potts, de Philadelphie, Laurent Villeneuve, Eugène Roy, Arthur Duguay, Honoré Charron et Xavier Lamoureux, tous d'Ottawa. Les Funérailles auront lieu lundi matin le 13 courant à 7 heures 45 de la demeure mortuaire, 606 rue St-Patrice pour service à l'église Ste-Anne à 8 heures et l'inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame d'Ottawa.

M. Jean-Valmore Landry, 373 rue Clarence, Ottawa, est décédé mardi dans un hôpital local, après une longue maladie, à l'age de 72 ans. Né à ottawa, il était le fils d'Edouard Landry et d'Emma Bigras, tous deux décédés. Il avait épousé Clara Houle qui lui survit. Paroissien de l'église Ste-Anne. il faisait partie de la Ligue du Sacré-Coeur et de la Société St-Jean-Baptiste. A sa retraite depuis trois ans, il avait été a l'emploi de la CTO pendant 45 ans. Outre son épouse il laisse dans le deuil dux fils: Jean-Edouard et André, tous deux d'Ottawa; cinq filles: Mme Fernand Paquette (Carmen), Mme Rolland Sabourin (Jacqueline), Mme Marcel Lebrun (Thérèse), Mme René Bonhomme (Réjeanne), et Mme Gilles Chénier (Marie-Paule), tous cinq d'Ottawa; deux frères René d'Eastview et Hervé, de Hull; cinq soeurs: Mme Jos Rodrigue (Nilda), d'Ottawa, Mme Normandine Bourgault, de Hull, Mme Fidèle Routhier (Laurette), Mme Jean Valiquette (Elianne), et Mlle Bernadette Landry, toutes trois d'Ottawa, ainsi que 19 petits-enfants.

EDWARD LANDRY--Mr. Edward Landry, of 43 McGee street, died recently at the age of forty-nine years the result of a short illness that developed into cerebal trouble. The late Mr. Landry was formerly the proprietor of the Parry Sound Hotel and latterly was employed with Mr. Robitaille at the Sirdar Hotel on Rideau street. He leaves besides his wife, three sons, Valmore, Rene, and Herve at home, and six daughters, Mrs Edmond Bourgeault of Ottawa, and Lorette, Nelida, Bernadette, Germaine, and Elaine at home, and one brother, Alfred, and a sister Mrs David Emond of Ottawa. His funeral took place Friday morning to the Basilica, where High Mass was sung, by Abbe Routhier, and interment was at Notre-Dame cemetery. The many spiritual offerings received by the family testify to the esteem in which the late mr. Landry was held.

GROUND BY THE WHEELS
Victor Landry Struck by a train. Died Soon Afterwards. An Inquest to be Held.
A sad accident occured yesterday afternnon at the Canadian Pacific, formely the St-Lawrencenand Ottawa railway crossing on the Montreal road, when Victor Landry, a wood dealer of 312 Clarence street, received fatal injuries from being ground under a passing train. As a result he died shortly afterwards in the Protestant hospital. His skull was fractured, brain laid bare, one leg cut completely off, and the other badly mangled. At the time of the accident Landry was in a cutter on his way home from some business he had to transact on the Montreal road. When crossing the railway tracks he evedently did not notice a train which was backing down the line. The rear car struck the cutter and Landry was thrown up in the air. On falling to the ground he was run over by the wheels of the car. Some people nearby took the injured man to the hospital. Landry was a married man, and leaves a widow and five young children. He belonged to St-Anne's parish.
An Inquest
Coroner Freeland last night opened an inquest into the details of Landry's death. Thefollowing jurymen were empaneled Patrick Brankin, foreman T. Whelan, John O'Donnell, M. Whelan, Chas. McMorrow, F. Reynolds, M. Lynch, J. Kennedy, A. Swalwell, J. Carruthers, H. Morris. After revewing the remains the jury adjourned until tonight. La famille sera présente pour recevoir parents et amis en l'église St-Sébastien, 1000 rue Frances, Ottawa, le jeudi 23 septembre 2010 dès 10h, suivi du service religieux à 11h. Un don à la Fondation des maladies du coeur serait grandement apprécié.
