Fils de feu Émile Charette et de feu Emelda St-Julien et d'une mère adoptive Antoinette Motard. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Lilianne Dionne Charrette ainsi que ses filles: feu Nicole (Bill Painter), Francine (Jean-Pierre Poirier) et Sylvie; ses frères et soeurs: feu Jean-Paul (feu Jacqueline Rattey), feu Raoul (feu Jeannine Renaud), feu Pierrette (feu Rosaire Bédard), feu Françoise (feu Oscar Kingsley), feu Denise (A. Corbin), Gérard (Simone Hupé), Thérèse (Roger Béland), Lilianne (Jean-Paul Desjardins) et Simone (feu O. Michealson); ses petits-enfants: Christopher (Natasha) et Darrell (Jaime); 6 arrière-petits-enfants et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il n'y aura pas de visites à la maison funéraire. Une messe commémorative en présence des cendres sera célébrée le lundi 29 novembre à 10h30 à l'église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, 435 chemin Montréal, Ottawa. La famille y accueillera parents et amis à compter de 10h. Pour ceux et celles qui le désirent, des dons peuvent être faits à la Société canadienne du cancer. CHARETTE, Marcel Passed away on November 23, 2010 at the age of 89. Son of the late Emile Charette and the late Emelda St-Julien, step-son of Antoinette Motard. Beloved husband of Lilianne Charette (Dionne). Dear father of late Nicole (Bill Painter), Francine (Jean-Pierre Poirier) and Sylvie. He is also survived by 2 grand-children (Christopher & Darrel), 6 great grand-children, 1 brother and 3 sisters, brothers in law and sisters in law as well as many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday November 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa. The family will be present at the church at 10 a.m. to receive condolences. In Memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
