Peut-être revint-il au Canada car un fils Alfred épouse M. Angélique Laurent à Notre-Dame en 1870. Il épouse en secondes noces une Reeves, dont le frère, John, épousera Georgiana Lamoureux (soeur aînée de mon père, Phydime Lamoureux). Les Boucher
sont apparentés à la famille Ducharme.
