    AVIS DE DÉCÈS Paulette Desjardins 1939 - 2020 C’est avec une immense tristesse que la famille Larivière vous annonce le décès de Paulette à l’âge de 81 ans à Ottawa le mercredi 29 juillet 2020. Originaire de la basse-ville d’Ottawa, elle était l’épouse de feu Pierre Desjardins, la fille de Raymond et Simone Larivière et la mère de Carole (Kevin McGregor) et de Lyne (Tom Pyne). Elle laisse également dans le deuil sa soeur Lise (Hervé), ses frères Jean (Christine), Marcel (Suzanne) et Michel (Renée) ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, petits et arrière petits-enfants et ami(e)s. Elle fut prédécédée par deux enfants à leur naissance, Luc et Julie, ainsi que sa petite-fille Michelle Vachon (Michael). Selon la volonté de la défunte, les funérailles auront lieu en privé à une date ultérieure.

    At the age of 9 she was stuck with turboculosis, segregated from other patients in the basement because of the rotting smell her uncle Fred took her with her mother to l'Oratoire St-Joseph in Mtl. climd the stairs on his knees with her in his arms and prayed with Frere Andre she got better as the bones that stuck out her arms and legs her mother would bury them.

Dear daughter of the late Herve Carriere and the late Normantine Maranger. Dear mother of Lise (Herve Dorval), Jean (Diane Guilbault), Michel (Renee Laframboise), Marcel (Suzanne Miner) and Paulette (Pierre Desjardins). Dear sister of Jeannine Landry, Rita Stewart and Robert Carriere. Fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes (Vanier) 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Notre-Dame Cemetery.

    EMILE CARRIERE--Emile Carriere, 57, of 323 St-Patrick Street, died suddenly
    at his home Friday. He was born in Buckingham, and had lived in Ottawa since
    1921. For many years he was a department manager at the Slover store but for the
    past year had been with the Canadian Corps of Commssionaires. He was with the
    RCAF from 1939 to 1945. Mr. Carriere attended the Basilica and was member of
    the Sacred Heart League. He was married in Buckingham in 1918 to Normantine
    Merangere who is let with one son, Robert of Ottawa, and Four daughters, Mrs
    Roland (Lucille) Favreau, Mrs. Raymond (Simone) Lariviere, Mrs. Jack Stewart
    (Rita), Mrs. Jean-Edouard Landry (Jeannine) of Hull. The funeral was held today
    from the Gauthier Funeral Home, 259 St. Patrick Street, for requiem high mass at
    the, Basilica. Interment was in Notre-Dame Cemetery.
