Obituary of Monique (Lapensée) Beauchemin
est décédée à l'âge de 89 ans, le 15 mai 2018, à la résidence Montfort.
Elle était la fille de feu Joseph Lapensée et de feu Laurette Tierney, Monique était l'épouse bien-aimée de feu Jacques Beauchemin. Prédécédée par son fils Jean et sa fille Marie (feu Patrick Ménard). Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Nicole, Sylvie (Michelle Deshaies), Christian (Norma Newton), Lynne (feu Larry Malvis; cher ami John Durrant) et Monik (Daniel Campeau).
Grand-maman adorée de : Patrick (Mélanie), Karina (Sam), Frédéric (Isabelle), Kristine (Paul), Joel-Jean (Steven), Cory (Audrey), Charles-Alexandre et Crystal. Arrière-grand-maman chérie de Mathieu, Grace, Daniel, Olivia, Annaël, Madison, Jean-Felix, Léo et Tristan.
Monique laisse également dans le deuil ses sœurs : Agathe, Lise (feu Francis Dervin) et Nicole (feu Réjean Bélanger). Elle fut également prédécédée par ses sœurs : Marguerite-Marie, Marie-Marthe (Donald McDonald) et Marcelle (Patrick Downs), et ses frères : Jean-Marie, Laurent (feu Thérèse Bélanger), Gilles (Jeannine Lemieux), Robert (feu Louise Legault) et Jacques (Micheline Lefebvre).
Monique laisse aussi plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousin(e)s et ami(e)s. La famille aimerait souligner la belle amitié que Monique a entretenue avec feu Jeannine Pilloud, sa meilleure. La famille aimerait aussi remercier l'équipe d'infirmières, préposé(e)s, Dr Muboyayi et la direction du CSLD Montfort pour les bons soins prodigués. La famille invite parents et ami(e)s le vendredi 18 mai 2018 de 15h à 17h et de 19h à 21h à la Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180, chemin Montréal, Ottawa). Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 19 mai 2018 à 10h en la chapelle de la maison funéraire. En mémoire de Monique, vous pouvez faire un don à la Société canadienne du cancer ou au CSLD Montfort.
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Monique announces her passing on May 15, 2018 at the age of 89 at the CSLD Montfort. Daughter of the late Joseph Lapensée and the late Laurette Tierney, beloved wife of the late Jacques Beauchemin. Predeceased by her son Jean and her daughter Marie (the late Patrick Ménard). Loving mother of Nicole, Sylvie (Michelle Deshaies), Christian (Norma Newton), Lynne (the late Larry Malvis; dear friend John Durrant) and Monik (Daniel Campeau).
Monique was the cherished grandmother of Patrick (Mélanie), Karina (Sam), Frédéric (Isabelle), Kristine (Paul), Joel-Jean (Steven), Cory (Audrey), Charles-Alexandre and Crystal. She will also be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Mathieu, Grace, Daniel, Olivia, Annaël, Madison, Jean-Felix, Léo and Tristan.

She was also predeceased by her sisters Marguerite-Marie, Marie-Marthe (Donald McDonald) and Marcelle (Patrick Downs), her brothers Jean-Marie, Laurent (the late Thérèse Bélanger), Gilles (Jeannine Lemieux), Robert (the late Louise Legault) and Jacques (Micheline Lefebvre).
She will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family wishes to mention the long-lasting friendship she had with the late Jeannine Pilloud. Special thanks to the team of nurses, healthcare attendants, executive and Dr. Muboyayi of CSLD Montfort for the compassionate care they provided Monique over the past two and a half years.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday May 18, 2018 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 19, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. In Memory of Monique, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the CSLD Montfort would be appreciated.
