Obituary of Guy Archambault
Retired from National Grocers Co. Ltd and member of the Knights of Columbus #5571.
It is with profound sadness, that we announce the peaceful passing of our wonderful father on June 7, 2018. Surrounded by his family, he succumbed to cancer after a short but very courageous battle. He leaves in sorrow his loving children Sylvain (Lanie Goodchild), Denis (Elvina) and Francine; his cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Kyle, Austin, Gage and Rock; his sister-in-law Marie-Paule; and many nephews, nieces and friends. He rejoins his parents, the late Eugene Archambault and Béatrice Martineau as well as his nine elder siblings Oscar, Claire, Marguerite, Maurice, Ernest, Émile, Béatrice, Raoul and Hervé (Frank). A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on June 22 at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes 435 Montreal Rd. Ottawa. The family will receive condolences from 10:00 A.M. Many thanks to his "ray of sunshine" Natalie and ALL the wonderful nurses and staff at the Élisabeth Bruyère Palliative Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Shepherds of Good Hope would be appreciated.

C'est avec tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès paisible de notre merveilleux papa le 7 juin, 2018. Entouré de sa famille, il a perdu sa lutte contre le cancer et laisse dans le deuil ses trois enfants adorés Sylvain (Lanie Goodchild), Denis (Elvina) et Francine , ses cinq petits-enfants Nicholas, Kyle, Austin, Gage et Rock. Il laisse également sa belle-sœur Marie-Paule et plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Il retourne dans les bras de ses parents feu Eugène Archambault et de feu Béatrice Martineau, ses frères et sœurs aînés : Oscar, Claire, Marguerite, Maurice, Ernest, Émile, Béatrice, Raoul et Hervé (Frank). La messe commémorative sera célébrée le vendredi 22 juin, 2018 à 10h30 en l'église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes 435, ch. Montréal Ottawa. La famille recevra les condoléances à l'église à compter de 10h. Milles mercis à Natalie "son rayon de soleil", ainsi qu'au personnel médical des soins palliatifs du Centre Élisabeth Bruyère. Vos marques de sympathies peuvent se traduire par un don à la Société canadienne du cancer ou bien Aux Bergers de l'Espoir d'Ottawa.
