Nécrologie: Early in the century he took an interest in all form of sports, and in 1904 was president of the Capital Athletic Association which was active on the field in various branches of athletics at that time. He has made notable contribution to the technical and professional literature of his time, and was a frequent contributor to medical and surgical journals. Since its establishment Dr. Chabot had been associated with the Ottawa Civic Hospital, as well as with other medical institutions of the Capital. He was a member of several social organizations. including the Rideau Club, the Royal , Ottawa Golf Club, l'Institut Canadien and the Monument National, of which he was a life member.
