LAFONTAINE, Bernard Allan "Bernie" (Stationary Engineer with R.C.M.P. - Retired) Suddenly on Tuesday, November 5, 2002, Bernie Lafontaine of R.R. #2 Williamsburg, age 61. Loving companion of Muriel McLean. Dear father of John (Donna) of Ottawa, Shannon Lafontaine of Ottawa, and Sarah Lafontaine of Ottawa. Survived by 5 brothers, Rene (Marge) of Johnstown, George of Montreal, Ed (Debbie) of R.R. #1, Morrisburg, Rich (Mado) of R.R. #3, Prescott, Phil (Sonya) of R.R. #3, Prescott and 4 sisters Gloria Levere of Cardinal, Audrey (Eldon) Strong of Nova Scotia, Vera Smith of Ottawa, and Joan (Gerry) Pollex of Ottawa. Bernie will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Scott, Todd and Anick Lafontaine. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg (535-2339) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Morrisburg, on Saturday, November 9th at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mariatown. Donations to Winchester Hospital or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
