Obituary of Joffre Bélanger
est décédé le 4 mai 2018, à l'âge de 102 ans.
Il était le fils de feu Napoléon Bélanger et de feu Alma (Rose) Plouffe. Il est allé rejoindre son épouse bien-aimée Berthe Charette. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Andrée (feu Jean Lortie), Pierrette (feu Benoît Veilleux), Jean-Paul (Lucienne Côté), Marie (Gilles Yelle) et Luc (Louise Pelletier). Il laisse également 16 petits-enfants et 15 arrières-petits-enfants. Il est précédé par son fils Denis et son épouse Jacqueline Gatien. Il est également précédé par ses frères : Adelphe (Alice Delorme), Yvon (Albina Beaupré), Palma (Émilia Tremblay) et Conrad (Berthe Lafortune) et ses sœurs : Aldéa (Léon Desjardins), Yvette (Georges Lefebvre), Jeannine (Théodore Létourneau), Fleur de Mai (Louis Lemaire) et Simone (Rosario Cyr). Il laisse également plusieurs neveux, nièces, amis et connaissances. La famille recevra parents et amis, à la Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier, 180, chemin Montréal, à Vanier, le jeudi 10 mai de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21, et le vendredi 11 mai de 9h à 10h. Les funérailles auront lieu à 10h30, le vendredi 11 mai, en l'Église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, 435, chemin Montréal, à Vanier. Vos marques de sympathies peuvent se traduire par un don à la Fondation de la Clinique du Cancer de l'Hôpital d'Ottawa, à l'Hôpital pour enfants de l'Est de l'Ontario ou à tout autre organisme de votre choix.
Passed away May 4, 2018 at the age of 102. Son of the late Napoléon Bélanger and the late Alma (Rose) Plouffe. He went to join his beloved wife Berthe Charette. He leaves in sorrow his children Andrée (the late Jean Lortie), Pierrette (the late Benoît Veilleux), Jean-Paul (Lucienne Côté), Marie (Gilles Yelle) and Luc (Louise Pelletier). Cherished grandfather to 16 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 15 great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his son Denis and his wife Jacqueline Gatien, his brothers Adelphe (Alice Delorme), Yvon (Albina Beaupré), Palma (Émilia Tremblay) and Conrad (Berthe Lafortune) and his sisters Aldéa (Léon Desjardins), Yvette (Georges Lefebvre), Jeannine (Théodore Létourneau), Fleur de Mai (Louis Lemaire) and Simone (Rosario Cyr). He also leaves in sorrow his nephews, nieces, friends and many acquaintances. Family and friends may pay their respects at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Vanier) on Thursday May 10, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., as well as on Friday May 11, 2018 from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church (435 Montreal Road, Vanier).
