Obituary of George Gauthier
Passed away peacefully on April 13, 2018 at the Perley & Rideau Veteran's Health Centre at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Lucette Forget. Loving father of Monique (Pierre) Potvin, Carmen Pitre (Yvon Thibeault), Marcel and Michel (Gisèle). Cherished grandfather of Luc (Marie-France), Marc, Chantal (Daniel), André (Karina) and France (Patrick) and great-grandfather of 10 great-grandchildren, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. He was also predeceased by all his siblings. The family would like to thank the Perley & Rideau for the excellent care provided. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday April 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Notre-Dame Cathedral (385 Sussex Drive, Ottawa). The family will receive condolences from 9:30 a.m. at church. In Memory of Mr. Gauthier, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
