Obituary of Carmen Julia Lanthier

est décédée paisiblement le 28 mai 2018 à l'hôpital Montfort, à l'âge de 85 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Edmond Dumoulin et de feu Éléonore Hamon. Elle était l'épouse bien-aimée de feu Adrien Lanthier. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Pierre (Rita), feu Nicole, Denis (Madeleine), Roch (Lorraine) et Lynn (Daniel), cinq petits-enfants : Sylvie, Anick, Yves, Dérik et Adrien, ses six arrière-petits-enfants: Nich, Emily, Lilly, Eva, Brianna et Noah, sa soeur et ses frères : Hervé, Jeannine, Claude, Ronald, Pierre et Marcel, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nieces, ami(e)s et son chien de compagnie Fifi. Elle fut également prédécédée par ses soeurs et ses frères : Robert, Richard, Jacques, Lilianne et Colette. Il y aura un service commémoratif le jeudi 7 juin 2018 à 13h30 à la chapelle de la Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180, chemin Montréal, Ottawa), la famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 13h. En mémoire de Mme Lanthier, des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer seraient grandement appréciés.

Passed away peacefully on May 28, 2018 at the Montfort Hospital at the age of 85. Dear daughter of the late Edmond Dumoulin and the late Éléonore Hamon. Beloved wife of the late Adrien Lanthier. Loving mother of Pierre (Rita), the late Nicole, Denis (Madeleine), Roch (Lorraine) and Lynn (Daniel). Cherished grandmother of Sylvie, Anick, Yves, Dérik and Adrien. Loved great-grandmother of Nich, Emily, Lilly, Eva, Brianna and Noah. She also leaves her siblings Hervé, Jeannine, Claude, Ronald, Pierre and Marcel, as well as many nephews, nieces,friends and her dog Fifi. She is predeceased by her siblings Robert, Richard, Jacques, Lilianne and Colette. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 1:30 pm. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). The family will receive condolences starting at 1 pm. In memory of Mrs. Lanthier, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Carmen married Adrien Lanthier on 27 Dec 1952 in ON, Ottawa, Notre Dame, (Cathedral). Adrien (son of Salomon Lanthier and Rosanna Paquette) died before 28 May 2018. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
